What happens to what you enter

The care symbol decoder, stain guide, dye calculator, washing guide and shrinkage calculator all work entirely in your browser. The symbols you pick, the stains you look up, your fibre weights and measurements are never sent to a server. The tools make no network requests of their own after the page has loaded.

Some tools put your choices in the page address (for example #label=… on the decoder) so that you can bookmark or share a result. That part of the address, after the #, is not sent to the server when the page loads.

Stored on your device

If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the next page opens the same way. Nothing else is stored. You can clear it at any time through your browser's site data settings.

Analytics and cookies

This site does not set cookies. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking and never receives what you type, pick or measure in the tools. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Links to other sites

Pages link to the sources they cite and to a few other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
